Strike One... Strike Two...

This past Thursday, staff members from WTT teamed with the Addison North Dallas Business Guide to participate in the First Annual Charity Bowl sponsored by the new lavish 300 Dallas Bowling Center. During the tournament, non-profits competed for a grand prize of $3,000 awarded to the team with the highest score. While we didn't win the grand prize, we did receive an award for the Most Strikes and made $300 for the theatre! Congratulations to our team: WTT Staff members Stephen Cano, Andy Gosnell and Callie Kilgore with Sharla DeFrancisco from the Addison North Dallas Business Guide! And a very special thank you to both the Guide for choosing WTT to participate in the event and to 300 Dallas for hosting the First Annual Charity Bowl.

WTT team members Andy Gosnell, Callie Kilgore and Sharla DeFrancisco prepare for battle!

Andy concentrates on not getting a gutter ball!

And while we may not have won the grand prize, we certainly had the best cheering section thanks to Heidi Shen, Elizabeth Kaminski and Landrie Bock (who was much more enthuastic during the rest of the game)!

A Working Weekend...

This past weekend, WTT's Board of Directors spend time together at their annual Board Retreat. The purpose of this retreat is come together as a group to discuss the common goals for the theatre in the upcoming and years and brainstorm on how to make those goals a reality. Serving on the Board of Directors is a labor of love for members... and WTT is honored to have such distinguished board members!

WTT staff looks on as consultant Betty Richardson leads the retreat.

A very special thanks goes to Chamberlain's Steakhouse for hosting a wonderful dinner for our Board of Directors this past Friday and to Dusty Smith with Springhill Suites for providing our meeting place!
